Cannes 2010: Elio Germano miglior attore

Alla sessantatreesima edizione del Festival di Cannes, la giuria presieduta dal regista americano Tim Burton ha deciso di premiare in qualità di Miglior Attore (ex-aequo con Javier Bardem) il nostro Elio Germano, 23 anni dopo Mastroianni (vincitore nel 1987 per Oci Ciornie di Michalkov): un grandissimo onore per il bravissimo trentenne romano, ormai proiettato nel gotha europeo della recitazione.
Ciò che fa accapponare la pelle è che il principale spazio quotidiano d'informazione televisiva, il Tg serale di RaiUno, abbia censurato il discorso del nostro attore additando "disservizi tecnici" proprio durante il brevissimo speech di Elio Germano... Al signor Minzolini, più che scandaloso direttore di un telegiornale che sta rasentando gli estremi della propaganda dittatoriale, un sentito ringraziamento.

Screen Actors Guild Awards 2010: i vincitori

In nottata sono stati assegnati a Los Angeles gli Screen Actors Guild Awards, premio deciso e consegnato annualmente dal sindacato attori. Noiosamente, tutte le previsioni sono state confermate: spero solo che agli Oscar possa accadere qualche upset che rovesci i forecast della vigilia (in testa, mi auguro che Meryl Streep possa sopravanzare sulla rapida e inarrestabile ascesa di Sandra Bullock).

Golden Globes 2010: i vincitori

Piccole sorprese e grandi conferme in nottata a Los Angeles, in occasione dell'assegnazione dei Golden Globes, premio consegnato annualmente dalla stampa straniera di Hollywood, che, in linea di massima, viene considerato una sorta di anticamera dell'Oscar.
Avatar, in maniera sacrosanta, si impone sia nella categoria del Miglior Film Drammatico che in quella di Miglior Regista: tributo doveroso alla pellicola di James Cameron che mi auguro davvero faccia incetta di riconoscimenti ai prossimi Academy Award.
Attesi e puntualmente elargiti i premi ai due attori non protagonisti e a Meryl Streep, che troverà una degna avversaria agli Oscar in Sandra Bullock (l'avremmo mai detto???), acclamatissima per la pellicola The Blind Side.
Tra gli attori, sorprendente l'affermazione di Robert "Sherlock" Downey, Jr. e davvero significativo il riconoscimento attribuito a Jeff Bridges, country singer con più di un problema in Crazy Heart.
Per quanto riguarda l'Italia, Baarìa ovviamente non ce l'ha fatta, a vantaggio del superfavorito Il nastro bianco, già trionfatore agli European Film Award.
Up, infine, oltre alla scontatissima statuetta in qualità di Miglior Film Animato, si aggiudica il premio per la Miglior Colonna Sonora.

Circa due ore fa sono state annunciate, a due giorni di distanza dai Golden Globes, le nominations ai prossimi Screen Actors Guild Awards, premio assegnato annualmente dal sindacato attori, che verranno assegnati il 23 gennaio a Los Angeles.
Anche in questo caso, nessuna eclatante esclusione: sostanziale conferma, quindi, che le previsioni della vigilia da parte dei blog specializzati erano assolutamente azzeccate.

Sono state annunciate poco più di un'ora fa le nomination ai prossimi Golden Globes, che verranno consegnati il 17 gennaio a Los Angeles.
Nessuna particolare sorpresa, con Up in the Air nella categoria dei film drammatici, e Nine in quella delle commedie o musical, a farla da padroni.
Soddisfazione anche per l'Italia, che piazza Baarìa nella cinquina del film straniero.
